8 Semesters Of Pinnacle And Internship

8 Semesters of Transformation

Semester Image

Introductory level programming, in addition to natural sciences.

These courses help code moderately complex applications.

These projects are showcased at the Pinnacle.

Pinnacle: Game Design

By the end of this semester, the students become efficient coders who can help the industry in their app-making processes.

The students take courses that are essential in reporting and analysing data and develop code to do that. They learn to use powerful visualisation tools as well.

Pinnacle: Data Analysis

By the end of this semester, the students will become excellent data analysts who can help industries get valuable insights from data.

The students learn to build machine learning models which can be used to solve complex problems, make classifications and take decisions from existing data. They also learn data-storage techniques.

Pinnacle: Machine-Learning models

By the end of this semester, the students will become data scientists, who can build accurate machine learning and deep learning models.

Combining the knowledge of machine learning, deep learning and data engineering, the students design AI models into products. The students learn about software development life cycles, software and machine learning development methods used in the industry. Pinnacle: Recommendation Systems, Fraud Detectors and Enterprise-grade Engines By the end of this semester, the students turn into full-fledged AI engineers.

The students dive into the world of IoT and advanced digital technologies. They also get to know the functioning of businesses.

Change required in curriculum: replace “Writing Business Plans, Technical Papers and Blogs” with “360 Degree View of Business”

PInnacle: Building enterprise level end-to-end projects like drones, robots, combining physical and digital projects

By the end of this semester, the students would have become digital engineers with knowledge of IoT and digital technology, who can aid digitalization of businesses.

The students will be interns with industry, getting to know the industry and aid them in creating novel smart processes.

Change required in curriculum: Remove “Entrepreneurship Development” (This has been compensated for in Semester 5 with “360 Degree View of Business”.)

The students will turn their focus to cybersecurity and fighting evil by building anti-hacking systems. They can also choose to specialize in different dominas like healthcare, generative AI, finance, astrophysics and the like.

Pinnacle: Making encryption software

The students can choose one of the three career tracks listed below.

Career tracks:

Entrepreneur track: The student can pick up a project at the Entrepreneurship cell

Higher Studies track: The student can join under a faculty’s mentorship and do a project that can lead to a publication

Career / job track: The student spends the semester building a better product with their knowledge of digital technologies.

The students learn to become more responsible engineers, focussing on ethics of using AI and digital technology. They learn deeper about cybersecurity, ethical hacking, intellectual properties and blockchain, along with polishing their grasp of digital technologies.

No pinnacle in the 8th semester.
